After reading law at Bristol University, where I was Vice-President of the University Debating Union, I was admitted as a solicitor in 1983. I was a senior litigation lawyer and partner respectively at two leading international law firms, Hogan Lovells and Lawrence Graham respectively.
In 2019 I was invited to join Spencer West, a fast growing full service law firm in the heart of legal London as a senior consultant lawyer. I and my team have first rate experience of conducting highly successful cases across all the major areas of litigation.
Whilst the emphasis should be on dispute resolution, litigation can prove necessary in order to secure the best result. I have a wealth of experience conducting court cases at all levels, from County Courts, through the High Court to the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and in the European Courts.
As a mark of my experience I was invited to contribute chapters to Longman’s Litigation Practice, a leading guide on civil litigation practice and procedure.
